Anti-natalism is back with some new coat of paint, but its proponents are still making the same old, ugly (ungodly) arguments. As biblically-faithful Christians, we cannot now allow these parties to talk us (or our neighbors) out of fulfilling God’s explicit instructions: “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.” (Gen. 1:28)

Text: Proverbs 31:21-22

Just Saturday, the weather was near 80 Fahrenheit and my family was wearing summer clothing. However, Monday morning, Autumn arrived. Windy, rainy, and 40-ish degrees in South Texas–what a shocker! Long sleeve, long leg clothes and stroller blankets for my kiddos, check. Fresh office wear for my husband, check. North Face coats all around, check. Winter nursing clothes in my current size, #MamaFail!

A Proverbs 31 woman is supposed to be prepared for the season’s change, but this time, I dropped the ball–on me.

A few Sundays ago, my pastor reminded our congregation of the Great Commission and challenged us to “disciple and be discipled”. This challenge gave me the final push that I needed to start pursuing a calling that God started cultivating in my heart a few months ago–to share the biblical wisdom that He has given me to edify other industrious, godly women.
