A few Sundays ago, my pastor reminded our congregation of the Great Commission and challenged us to “disciple and be discipled”. This challenge gave me the final push that I needed to start pursuing a calling that God started cultivating in my heart a few months ago–to share the biblical wisdom that He has given me to edify other industrious, godly women.
Everyone has a type–a type of friend that is–that they naturally gravitate towards. However, we need to surround ourselves with diverse types of friends in order to grow and thrive. Here is my short list of mama friends that you need to seek out:
Every Sunday, my husband, kiddos, and I worship together. And Most Sundays, we receive numerous compliments after the worship service because my two, two (years old)-and-under kiddos did fabulous jobs staying quiet and/or engaged.
My mother-in-law was up reading Consumer Reports articles in the middle of the night and came across one that she thought I needed to read. (Praise the Lord for her and her thoughtfulness!) The article she sent me detailed how Consumer Reports had tested a wide variety of jarred baby foods, baby meal pouches, package baby snacks, etc. and discovered that about two-thirds (68 percent) of the store-bought baby food sampled had worrisome levels of at least one heavy metal–even the organic products!
