The I&G Hot List (July/August 2020 Edition)

I am always searching for products and services that make being fabulously industrious and godly a little easier. Here are the things that I am loving this month:

Annie’s Birthday Cake Bunny Grahams

Annie’s collection of organic bunny grahams are some of my kiddos favorite “special” treats. These bunnies taste like the equivalent of cookies for them, but contain a fraction of the sugar. This month in particular, they are obsessed with the birthday cake flavor, which actually tastes richer and more delicious than many of the yellow birthday cakes I have eaten over the years (and my husband would agree). My mama trick: I reward my kiddos with a 3-6 bunnies each if they do a good job participating in family worship after dinner 😉

Shea Moisture’s Olive & Green Tea Body Wash

Early in my marriage, I learned the hard way that if I acknowledge potential problems sooner then they will be less likely to cause issues later on. I started applying this same logic to my “aging problem” around my 28th birthday. Since then, I have been enjoying the benefits of night creams and other products intended to help me boost/maintain my youthful vibrancy. This body wash, allegedly for “dry, aging skin” is another winner–especially during the summertime in Texas. My skin loves the extra moisture this body wash imparts. This body wash has also helped my skin to become more resilient after sun exposure. Here’s to glowing for years to come!

Arm & Hammer Toothpastes

Anyone else missing the dentist due to Covid-19? My crew and I are missing our deep dentist cleans, but we are not in a rush to have someone breathing over our faces anytime soon (if you catch my drift). Fortunately, these toothpastes with baking soda have removed 90%+ of the build up (left by our old toothpastes and flossing) that our dentist would have scraped off. #winning

Catch a Letter Magnetic Learning Game

Sometimes, my little homeschoolers need ways to get their wiggles out while learning. For this reason, bath tub fishing for letters is one of their favorite learning games. We practice letter recognition, making the letter’s phonetic sound, and listing words that start with the letter caught (at this developmental stage). Super learning fun!
