Being an author, I naturally love reading. Fortunately, my husband and kiddos are avid readers as well. Here is what we are into this month:

This month, my husband and I have been enthralled with preparing to sell our house and looking to buy a new one. We have hardly had a spare moment to read anything outside of real estate and development articles (besides books to the kiddos) . Please keep our relocation in your prayers!

My daughter has been digging the Baby Scientist series. She especially likes Baby Oceanographer by Dr. Laura Gehl. These board books introduce kiddos to technical scientist roles, but the pages are very colorful and the text is simple. #winning

One of three books in the series
My son has been loving Gute Nacht Lieber Mond, a German translation of the classic, Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. I studied German in college, so I am really tickled to share a little German language moment with him. He is perplexed by the clear language difference, but he is not phased due his familiarity with the story. For this reason, I try to read the story with similar emphases to really play up the similarities.

Instant classic
