Being an author, I naturally love reading. Fortunately, my husband and kiddos are avid readers as well. Here is what we are into this month:

This month, my infant son has become infatuated with “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown. He often grabs this book off the side table in the nursery and manuevers it over to the couch to “read” it (aka flip through all the pages). From what I can tell, he loves the simple “plot” and swift cadence of the story. I am just glad that he has discovered another favorite book and that we can snuggle up with this book together 🙂

My daughter has been loving her redacted copy of “God’s Very Good Idea” by Trillia Newbell so much that she memorized it! She can now recite/”read” it with my husband before bedtime. (Note: We bought this book before we became convicted about images of Jesus. Since then, we have redacted the images of Jesus by covering them up with paper.)
