Being an author, I naturally love reading. Fortunately, my husband and kiddos are avid readers as well. Here is what we are into this month:

This month, I have been reading lots of materials about how to teach my toddler how to read. She has expressed an earnest interest in learning to read so I have been studying up at hyperspeed by reading articles about phonics and Montessori reading games 🙂 One of my favorite articles was this one by the blog, Living Montessori Now. I have also enjoyed video tutorials from my reading specialist cousin.

The kiddos have been reading  Hippos Go Berserk by Sandra Boynton on repeat. This book was a natural winner because I am teaching my toddler how to count and my infant has a natural affection for numbers. Plus, both of my kiddos are goofy like the hippos 🙂

My husband has been sneaking off into corners reading the 2018 Journal of IRBS Theological Seminary. This particular issue focuses on the Reformed Baptist understanding of the Sabbath, which he has been especially keen about studying lately.
